Re: [dcphp-dev] Re: Website system for accepting Payments?

We use recurly currently and didn't have any issues until their latest meltdown.  Watching closely to see how the recover to decide if we need to move to a different service.

I've had good experiences in the past with Recurly: http://recurly.com/

(Though they recently had a big data "whoops" -- see http://techcrunch.com/2012/09/05/recurly-failure/ -- and it's been a year or so since I used them last, so it's possible they've gone downhill since then)

I've also heard good things about Chargify (http://chargify.com/), though since I haven't used them myself I can't speak directly to what it's like working with them.

Most payment gateways (Authorize.net, etc.) also offer some kind of recurring-payments solution; they tend to be complicated to set up and use, though. The value of services like Recurly/Chargify is that they streamline the process.

I'm working on a website with a subscription model and need to integrate some sort of option for accepting payments, especially recurring payments.  I'm leaning slightly toward Amazon Payments, but open to hearing other people's experience.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
