Good Day,
Valuable Blessings, Inc. is a local non-profit organization that seeks to
provide assistance to both the adult and youth within the Prince George's
County community in the following areas (but not limited to), Higher
Education, Spiritual Empowerment and Entrepreneurial/Leadership
skills-while additionally formulating programs that will allow our youth
to maintain their focus on positive activities and enhance the process of
promoting non-violence throughout our community.
In our efforts to build our communities we must first build ourselves and
our organization. Attached you will find a list of available volunteer
opportunities within our organization. Please pass on to High School
and/or College students who are serious and interested in giving back to
their community.
In addition to that we are in search of guest speakers that would like to
come out and speak to the children in our programs. We are looking for
people from all different walks of life to come out and share something
positive with our youth.
We now have the following programs that we offer to the youth and parents
in our local communities:
*Mentoring (male and female)
*Tutoring
*Cooking
*GED Prep
*Computer classes
If you have an interest in any of these programs being in your school,
community or you know of someone that would be interested please contact
us.
With all the great things going on within our organization it is easy to
forget about the upcoming holidays so we are getting started on that NOW.
Valuable Blessings has an annual holiday events which are the following:
*Community Thanksgiving banquet where we open the doors and feed hundreds.
*"Adopt a Family" every year for Christmas
This would be our 3rd year doing these events and they have been extremely
successful but we know that with more people working together we can reach
even more people. We are in need of partners, supporters, sponsors and a
venue for these events. If you are interested or know someone that is
interested in making a difference in someone's life for the holidays
