Been a php/mysql'er in DC since about 1999, after building sites with perl for a year or two. Back then there were no php groups around so I was active in the linux user group communities in the area, NOVALUG, etc ...
Lately I build mostly with Zend-Framework and have been excited about ZF2 just released last week. I also like to work in javascript, mostly using the dojo-toolkit framework, and have actively followed both projects, ZF and dojo, since about 2006.
I live in the burbs of VA so don't get to the php meetings much but like to see how the php community has grown in the area over the years.
