[Philodemic Society] Re: Resolutions for consideration at the September 28 Business Meeting

Resolved: Too little power is left to the states. (Resolved: States should be able to set their own drinking ages).
Resolved: The rise of China threatens the United States. (Similarly, Resolved: The United States should defend Japan's claim to the Senkaku (Diaoyu) Islands.)
Resolved: The West coast is the best coast (except California).
Resolved: The United States should declare a threshold for war with Iran.
Resolved: The United States patent system does more harm than good.
Resolved: The goal of the justice system in the Unitetd States should be reformation, rather than punishment, of convicts.
Resolved: New Jersey is the worst state in the Union.
Resolved: News should be fair and balanced.
Resolved: The video 'Innocence of Muslims' should be censored. (maybe too similar to media censorship does more harm than good).
Resolved: The Euro zone should expel Greece from its membership.
Resolved: The Drinking age should be lowered to 18.
