[Philodemic Society] Re: Resolutions for consideration at the September 7 Business Meeting

Resolved: Green is the new Red. (i.e. environmentalism is the successor to socialism)
Resolved: All regulations on business should be abolished.
Resolved: Laissez-faire capitalism results in the exploitation of workers by business.
Resolved: The minimum wage laws should be abolished.
Resolved: Licensing laws should be abolished.
Resolved: Zoning laws should be abolished.
Resolved: The roads should be privatized.
Resolved: There is never a good reason for government to stop any private action that does not initiate the use or threat of force against anyone else.
Resolved: The Postal Service should retain its monopoly on the mail.
Resolved: Selfishness is a virtue. (i.e. the morality of rational egoism)
Resolved: Society should rely on voluntary charity, not forced welfare.
Resolved: The goal of world politics should be the creation of a world government.
Resolved: Nationalism is evil.
Resolved: The United States should adopt free and unrestricted immigration.
Resolved: The need for wealth is objectively unlimited in scope and amount.
Resolved: The current special privileges and immunities given to labor unions should be revoked.
Resolved: Altruism necessarily leads to collectivism.
Resolved: The right to life implies the right to self-destruction.
Resolved: All drugs should be legalized immediately.

I know it's a lot of them; feel free to pick only the most interesting ones if you think it's necessary.
