That's good advice on the law school angle. You should also have someone with law experience help you draw up standard client contract OR review the contracts your clients before you sign anything.

I recommend setting up the LLC.  It's really worth the money and doesn't' cost much.  Also before spending money on a lawyer to help you with all this.  You should go check out Law schools in the area.  DC has plenty.  Students and faculty usually help you set that up for free and give you advice since they need the experience.  Just a suggestion.
