Re: [dcphp-dev] Slides from Monday

Thanks for sharing Brandon, I'm sorry to have missed the presentation.
(I've been out of the DC php loop a bit, started a family and moved
to the 'burbs). I took the mySQL Advanced PHP class about ten years
ago and almost everybody in the class, including the instructor, was
like "yeah we don't really use PHP OOP in real life, don't really
worry about it". PHP development has come a long way since then!!

Display logic is really nasty, I find myself pushing that into the the
controller or as logic in the view. Neither approach is really
satisfying.

Also, I've been really digging into Symfony2, the framework seems
pretty elegant. Do you have any particular opinion on it?
