Hi everyone,

I'm sad I could not make it tonight to the Peaceful Gathering at the African American Museum of HIstory and Culture .  Thank you Nancy for your leadership/ call to action for Justice and Love against the hanging of nooses in DC and beyond.

I was poking around the Washington Ethical Society's website and found the "Resistance Manual" an "open-source platform to harness the collective power of the people to continue to make progress in our communities." 

I believe this resource can be of great value to the Engaged Sangha!

 Here is the link to research being done on Healthcare  and there are several more topic areas we have been discussing.

Hope to see many of you Sunday evening at Downtown Sangha.

I have offered to host the next potluck which will be Saturday, June 17, 5pm - 8pm.  I am in the Takoma DC neighborhood, a short walk from the Takoma station.  Please RSVP if you'd like to respond and I'll send out my address and contact info.

Regarding teach-ins, I had offered to organize one on healthcare/Medicaid. I've made modest progress so far.  I'm wondering if anyone would like to partner with me and help maintain some momentum?
