[IMCW-Engaged-Sangha] Re: IMCW Engaged Sangha - Next potluck, Teach-ins

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all having a good start to the week!

I just wanted to remind everyone about the next Engaged Sangha potluck, which will be this Saturday, June 17th from 5 -8 pm.  If you can come, please bring a vegetarian dish to share.  Also at our last meeting we agreed that wine is fine at these gatherings. So if you want to bring something to drink at well, it can either alcoholic or non, per your preference

Please send me a message to RSVP.  I will send out logistics details in a few days.  I have the names of folks who already RSVPd but if you aren't sure or want to double check, feel free to send me a message.

I look forward to getting together and catching up soon!

We had a wonderful get together at Nancy's last weekend.  A lot of interesting discussion and some delicious food!

I have offered to host the next potluck which will be Saturday, June 17, 5pm - 8pm.  I am in the Takoma DC neighborhood, a short walk from the Takoma station.  Please RSVP if you'd like to respond and I'll send out my address and contact info.

Regarding teach-ins, I had offered to organize one on healthcare/Medicaid. I've made modest progress so far.  I'm wondering if anyone would like to partner with me and help maintain some momentum?
