[IMCW-Engaged-Sangha] Come learn how to help vulnerable immigrants and refugees in DC - Sunday June 25th

Dear Engaged Sangha,

I'm reaching out with an invitation for others who, like me, have wished for an opportunity to do something positive and practical to counteract some of the disturbing events in the news.

This coming Sunday, I'm hosting a get-together to connect interested folks with information and current  opportunities to help vulnerable immigrants and refugees in the DC area.  Laura Catania, the volunteer coordinator from Ayuda, will share a "One Hour, One World" presentation to give an overview of current concerns and talk about volunteer opportunities for people like us to help improve the lives of people living in our local area.

Please consider joining me; and feel free to bring friends, significant others, and children.

What:    One Hour, One World presentation and chance to mingle and talk with Ayuda's volunteer coordinator, Laura Catania
When:   Sunday, June 25th, from 3 - 5 p.m.
**Please arrive by 3 or 3:15; so that Laura can start her presentation at 3:30**
Why:     To connect with practical ways to help immigrants and refugees living in the DC area
RSVP:   Lisa at wilsontherapy@gmail.com or  202-431-9371

Many thanks!  Hope to see you then.

Lisa
