It seems a shame, for any of us who would like, not to gather this Sunday night just because the church is closed. You are most warmly invited to come sit at my apartment this Sunday Dec 1 at our usual time from 6 to 7:30. I live between Union Station in Chinatown, very near a redline stop and on the Circulator line. If you would like to come just email me and I'll give you directions.
If you can let me know by 3 I'll send the directions out after that. For any last minute takers I'll check back about 5.
Have a good rest of the weekend,
Namaste,
Anne

Warm season greetings sangha members, I'm writing with three important announcements for everyone.--First, because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the church will be closed on the evening of Dec. 1, so we won't be able to have our regular Sunday night sit that evening.Second, I'll be hosting a potluck Buddha brunch on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 12:30 pm. We'll continue to discuss spiritual wisdom and discernment (the topic for yesterday's brunch). Below, you will find links to two readings on this topic which we'll be discussing. Please RSVP directly to me at amydona@gmail.com if you plan to come to the brunch by Thursday, Dec. 5.
Third, our Sunday night sit on Dec. 8 will be sangha led. We will have a meditation, a short talk and facilitated conversation, and share a light potluck meal.~Namaste~Readings for Dec. 7 Buddha brunch:The Sharp Sword of Prajna, by Judy LiefGiving Rise to Discernment, by Thanissaro Bhikkho
