Re: [dcphp-dev] [job] Junior-Mid Level Web Developer

Mehmet, that would be accurate. :)

I just joined as a UX/IA three weeks ago and I really like it. I think there would be a lot of room for someone to grow OR thrive if they liked the kind of work they see on our site. More than most companies I've worked for in the last 13ish years, the leadership here seems to be carefully minding their culture and is interested in finding people who are a good fit and who value the same things they do. I do not get the impression that they say that as lip service either: I know y'all have heard that before. ;)

I would also say that if you are looking to make a move but you feel this doesn't match you exactly but you like the work you see, then please float your resume to us.

Thanks for looking! Hope to see y'all at the next event!

p.s. I am not a recruiter. Don't boot me. I just like the company. :)

I suspect the long laundry list for a junior means "any of these technologies are acceptable and we can appreciate".  At least, when I am hiring, that is what it means.

Ponies are issued by the company but are not available to new employees until after your first 90 days. Company policy.

Heh.

I'd never heard of DotNetNuke, and the very term gives me the heebie-jeebies. If I do not wish to add it to my skillset, I suppose I'll never make junior?

It's always impressive the laundry list of skills that are expected of
