Quite easy to get there by public transport as well: if she can get to the Friendship Heights Metro station by 7:10, there's a "T" bus (T2 or T4) that leaves at 7:14 and has a stop right on the corner where River Road Unitarian is. She gets there right on time for the sit and can request a ride during the "ride home" thing, after.
