For all of you who would like to participate in the Kids Zone, Math Counts, Tri-Math-A-Lon or Engineering Design Competitions, (Lego) Ronald Royster, NSBE, Jr. Advisor will be hosting workshops on Saturday, October 13th at Kettering Middle School from 10am to 1pm.

 

The competitions will be held at the NSBE Fall Regional Conference in Norfolk, VA on November 2-4, 2012. We don't have any time to lose so come out and be ready to hit the books. Attached is a detailed flyer providing information on this event.

Mark your calendar and join us for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Region 2's Fall Regional Conference. To be held from November 2nd - 4th at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, Norfolk, VA.

 

 

This will be an opportunity for students to attend training workshops - past workshops have included:
 
1. Engineering a Global Impact
2. Get2 HYPE for College
3. What Type of Engineering is ForME?  
        
 
 
1. Tri-Math-A-Lon (High School)
2. Engineering Design (High and Middle School)
3. Math Counts (Middle School)
4. Kids Zon (4th - 5th Graders)
5. Science Fair (All)

     
 

Entertainment:

1. Step Show - (PCI & Collegiate)
2. NSBE's Got Talent
3. PCI Mixer

Also, the Fall Regional Conference provides an opportunity for students to network with fellow attendees in our region in addition to collegiate students. This events promises to challenge, educate,
and enlighten all conference participants -

and parents!
