[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Volunteer opportunity, Feb 15- Anacostia Watershed Society, Invasive Plant Species Removal

Greetings sangha members,  

In further follow up to our on-going conversation about volunteering, I wanted to share information about another volunteer opportunity.  On Feb. 15, 1:30-4:30 pm, the Anacostia Watershed Society is partnering with SCRAP to put on a three-part event, which includes making art with invasive species and an invasive species pull, at Bostwick house in Bladensburg, MD.  I'm planning to attend just the invasive species pull, and I would be happy to give a ride to others interested in attending as well. (Drop me an email at amydona@gmail.com if you would like to ride with me; I have room for up to three other people in my tiny car.)
