Giant Foods and Chef Egg will compete on behalf of Girl's Inc, DC. Girl's, Inc., an organization dedicated tcreatinopportunities for girls to learn and grow, to navigate the unique challenges they face growing up, and to discover theipotential as leaders with the courage and vision to change the world. GIANT Foods is committed to supportincommunity needs with a heavy emphasis on eradicating hunger and improvinthe quality of life for children. Last year, they donated $19.1 million in combined cash and produccontributions through customer, vendor, associate ancorporate contributions.

Chef Erik "Egg" Berlin is a Maryland based private chef, culinary instructor, and food demonstration specialist. With rare blend of formal culinary training, real-world experience, and a street-wise sense of attitude, entertainment valuand humor, Chef Egg has found a niche that allows hito stand out in a sea of cooking shows, viral videos, and amateufoodie blogs.

Egg's formal culinary training started at age 17 in the HCAT program at Anne Arundel Community College. He theearned his Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at University of MD, Eastern Shore. In his time at UMES, he developed friendships and connections that led him into Tproduction and eventually on to produce the Cooking With Egg Show on the Access 26 station iSalisbury, Maryland. He later brought the show to Howard County's Cable Access Channel 73. He caalso be seen as a guest chef on the Comcast Network CN8 - The Fretz Kitchen, ancan be heard answerinquestions as the Executive Chef of the The Ed Norris Show on Baltimore's WHFS Free FM,and also oElliott in the Morning on DC101. The Cooking with Egg Breakfast Eggstravaganza is now availablinternationally as an educational resources package through the Learning Seed Company. For more information abouChef Egg you can visit his websites: www.cookingwithegg.com and www.chefegg.com.
