Sodexo Motivation Solutions is looking for an experienced, results oriented Developer to Lead the software life cycle of our internal and customer facing applications, working out of our Gaithersburg, Maryland office. We are a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who are building a new business for Sodexo. Successful candidates are software engineers who take great pride in both the technical and business contribution of their work and are able to lead, motivate, and inspire direct reports and peers in support of our projects.
This position would be a full time, lead position managing other developers in the development of our backend and customer facing solutions.
The Min/Max Salary range for this position is $66,300 - $123,000
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Developing Web Applications using PHP & Zend, Perl, and JavaScript
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures and problem solving
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Experience with distributed computing, global multi-country platforms, and Development Privacy & Security Best Practices
- Strong Project Management skills - Ability to take large projects from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Experience in communicating with clients, internal & external technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces through back-end systems and all points in between
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a small internal development staff in support of our projects
