[dcphp-dev] Wield the Banhammer!

As many of you know, our beloved enforcer, Brock, has moved on to, if not greener, then certainly higher pastures in Colorado.

While he has been graciously continuing to wield the Banhammer to keep us protected from miscreants who won't obey our simple rules for posting to the list, it's really not fair to ask him to continue to do this.

So if you have a minute each day (seriously, that's all it takes) and enjoy smiting the unrighteous, please let me know so we can let Brock wield his hammer for his local open source groups.

Basically, the only rulse you need to enforce (because this is a polite and on-topic list) is to ensure that job postings are:

1) About PHP.
2) For the DC area (or remote work).
3) Start their subject line with [job] so people can filter out recruiting emails if they don't want to see them.

And since new posters have to have their first messages approved, the only thing you'll need to do is release the good ones and, if they look sincere but mistaken, reply to people not following the rules to cut and paste the above so they can understand. At your discretion, repeat offenders can be ejected. All of this takes place through Google Groups and is easy to do.

Let me know if you'd like to help fight for justice and the PHP way.
