Grab Networks is looking for mid-to-senior level software engineers with strong coding skills to work on projects in PHP (Wordpress plugins) and Ruby. Depending on the candidate's abilities, this position has the potential to be full-stack; however, the short-term and primary responsibility will be video syndication plugins such as our GrabPress product for syndicating video on the Wordpress platform.

Required Skills:
· provable programming prowess in PHP and Ruby/RoR
· experience working on client side plugins which communicate with backend web services
· passion for writing tight, non-complex code
· strong experience with Unix/Linux
· experience with a sizable source code base and version control systems (git preferred)
· enjoys the team dynamic and communicates effectively
Desirable Skills:
· frontend languages: HTML5, CSS, JS
· software engineering practices
· MySQL
· Amazon Web Services
Education and Experience Level:
· Computer science degree strongly preferred
· Minimum five years of professional experience.
Responsibilities:
Candidates will need to apply all manners of software engineering techniques to develop software which has a large impact on the performance Grab's video catalog. This position is part of the infrastructure team and requires close collaboration with the product team, thus candidates need to have exceptional communication skills and a team-first attitude.
