Writing to relay I will be hosting the next (3rd) Potluck Dinner & Social Justice Discussion
Saturday May 13th 5-8.
A group from our Sangha have met the last 2 months to gather and share food and community related to our mindful social justice ideas, responses / actions.
We have also been addressing logistics on how to move forward.
To date we have generated interest around 5 domains and continue to develop strategies to build on our work with teach-ins, potlucks, and communicating with a broader community.
1. Immigration Justice 2. Sanctuary 3. Climate / Environmental Justice 4. Health Care 5. Media
The format so far has been to chat and eat 5-6ish - then have a brief sit (10 minutes) followed by discussion and planning.

I have 14 chairs in my home and will have cushions for floor sitting if all chairs are taken.
I also have a cat, Dr. Phlox.
