Hello, I'm an organizer for an upcoming event in the DC area. It's called Enterprise MediaWiki Conference. It's about MediaWiki, an open-source PHP-based software that powers Wikipedia and thousands of other wikis around the world. [0] I'm hoping you can help share this event with members of your group. It will be March 8 to the 10th in MCLean, Virginia, USA, a suburb of Washington, DC. EMWCon is a three-day conference featuring discussions of topics related to the usage of MediaWiki software by and within companies, non-profits, governments, and other organizations. Registration is open, and we are actively speaking submissions from community members to share their experiences with the greater MediaWiki community. [2] You are encouraged to submit a proposal on the event page. An simple abstract will suffice for now. :) You can also apply for a Travel & Participation Support grants to help with travel and participation. [3] Please spread the word with other folks who might be interested. Thank you for your time.
