> The Prince George's County Public School System and EduSerc is hosting a FREE program for rising 6th graders from 9am – 1pm from July 1 – August 1 (Monday – Thursday) to help nurture the development of youth in Math and Science through hands-on learning in four major areas:

> ·         Automotive Engineering

> ·         Industry Applications in Math

> This program is open to all current 5th grade students attending Prince George's County Public Schools that will be in the 6th grade next year in the county.

> The program will be implemented at four (4) different locations in the county:

> Students involved in the afternoon program (or after-care program) will engage in continued learning in STEM, Culinary, Film-Making, Sports, Cartoon Animation and other types of hands-on learning opportunities.  In addition, students will receive additional training in study skills, time management, academic support in reading and writing and organizational skills with our ELA staff.  This program is more than after-care, it is extended academic reinforcement through hands-on learning after the morning program is complete!
