Our DC based client is looking for an experienced object-oriented developer to work with more senior researchers and support researchers of social science issues.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be able to enhance current Cold Fusion and PHP programs; develop and test new program modules and pages, interact with the project team to customize the website to meet funder requirements; ensure that databases and other content on the site are secure and running efficiently; and troubleshoot bugs. The candidate will work with large data sets, analyze data for consistency and quality, and write programs to perform data reconstruction and database management.
Qualifications:
Must have 3 years' experience using Coldfusion or PHP, JavaScript, CSS, SQL (SqlServer/MySql) and a strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming. The ideal candidate will also have expertise with Google Maps, AJAX, and jQuery.
