[dcphp-dev] [job] Back-end PHP Developer (Downtown DC)

Home Front Communications, a D.C.-based Interactive, public relations and communications firm, is seeking a PHP developer to join its growing Web development team. This is a F/T, onsite position. 

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years' experience working in web development, preferably in an agency environment. He or she will also bring the following to his or her new position at Home Front:
- 4 years minimum experience with:
- HTML/XHTML and CSS.
- Web programming with PHP
- JavaScript development, including the usage of libraries such as jQuery
- Relational database systems such as MySQL
- Significant experience working with content management systems, including theme development and site configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with pressing deadlines.

We will give preference to candidates who:
- Have experience theming and developing sites that use Drupal and/or WordPress.
- Are passionate about open-source projects and regularly contribute to one or more.
- Have UNIX shell experience and have worked with Subversion, CVS or related versioning tools.
