Endeavor Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior PHP developer to join a rapidly growing project called OpenFISMA. We are writing the largest open source security application for the U.S. federal government, and we need brilliant, hard-working developers to help us meet the rising demand. We are in search of someone to provide continued development and leadership of the OpenFISMA product.  

 

The ideal candidate has a strong open source development background in PHP and MVC frameworks such as Zend, Symfony, or CodeIgnighter.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Candidates must have a strong background in web programming in all areas, including server-side scripting, JavaScript, PHP, LDAP, MySQL and CSS.

·         5+ years of website development experience

·         5+ years of PHP website development in a LAMP environment, including PHP5

·         MVC

·         Excellent Javascript experience; JQuery

·         HTML5, CSS3

·         Design Patterns

·         Strong Linux and/or Unix background.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead a team doing PHP5 web development for our OpenFISMA software

·         Using PHP5, Zend Framework and other web development tools to design and develop new functionality to our current platform using Design Patterns, Agile, PHP5 and MVC

·         Leading and mentoring a team of developers
