Job Description: Jr. PHP Developer
Endeavor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Jr. PHP developer to join a rapidly growing project called OpenFISMA. We are writing the largest open source security application for the U.S. federal government, and we need brilliant, hard-working developers to help us meet the rising demand. If you have experience with PHP5, have a drive to bring new ideas to the table and the ability to learn new technology than this is a great opportunity for you!
What you need for this position:
- At least 1 year of PHP5 experience
- Experience with working within Zend framework
- Experience with JQuery
- MySQL knowledge
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and Javascript/AJAX (jQuery, Sencha, GWT)
- SCM experience (Subversion, Git)
- Aware of web standards, their purpose, benefits and appropriateness
- Good documentation and organization skills (Jira, Confluence, Trac)
What you'll be doing:
- Adding new functionality to OpenFISMA
- Maintaining and supporting OpenFISMA deployments
- Working closely with a team of developers to update and design new functionality for OpenFISMA
