Hi friends, 

Just a reminder we will be holding the second part of our discussion of the movie Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring  this Saturday at 6pm ET. 

I really loved the movie -- it was beautiful and deep. Themes such as sex and murder don't often make it in movies about Buddhist monks and the dharma! The film has some interesting points on these things and I for one am still working through it. I definitely am looking forward to unpacking it and processing it with you all. 

All are welcome to join us. Please feel free to join the discussion regardless of whether you've seen the movie or not!

We've decided to try something a little different for our next reading group. Instead of discussing a set of articles or a book, we've instead decided to watch a dharma-related film and hold a discussion. The film I've chosen is one I'm really excited to watch "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring" (2003). It appears to be freely available on Tubi. Here's a preview for the film I found.

We'll be meeting this Sunday, January 17th at 6pm for the screening. We'll then hold the discussion Saturday, January 30th, also at 6pm. 

Please feel free to join at both or either session, viewing of the movie not required!
