[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Behind-the-scenes: Sunday evening class

Downtown Dharma-ers,

To keep you in the loop on behind-the-scenes shifts at the Sunday evening class at the Church of the Holy City (previously at All Souls Church Unitarian)...
  • Hugh Byrne will shift to teaching periodically, rather than being a core teacher. Hugh co-founded the class in 2004 and has helped coordinate it since. Big gratitude to Hugh for his immense dedication and heart in that role for all these years!
  • Klia Bassing, Erin Brantley, and Scott Drewes are heading a transition team. We and IMCW are taking the summer to clarify core leadership going forward (if you're interested in being on the transition team, please contact Scott at scott.drewes@gmail.com). We'll post updates to this listserv.
  • We've updated our teaching schedule!
    • We're pleased to bring back a few more times in 2017 two esteemed guest teachers: Gretchen Rohr and Glendora Meyers.
    • We have two upcoming community-led evenings: July 23rd and August 6th. These evenings focus on deepening connection within our sangha (community).
Lost & Found: A bike helmet and sunglasses were left at La's class last Sunday. They're still in our meditation room at the church. You can pick them up this coming Sunday when Kristin will be teaching.

Kind regards,
Klia
