We're looking for a senior level PHP developer with Laravel experience to join our team building new and exciting features for our next generation digital engagement platform, Springboard. You'll be the first full-time Laravel developer on staff and will be expected to help get our Drupal PHP developers up to speed on the framework.

As such, each member of our team is expected to work typical hours in their local U.S. time zone. Qualifications:
  • Experience in design and software development with an MVC framework and Laravel PHP
  • Minimum 5 years in PHP development
  • The ability to understand, write and modify object-oriented PHP
  • Experience in designing clean and maintainable REST APIs
  • Willingness to adopt coding style guidelines, e.g. PSR-1 and PSR-2
  • Unit and acceptance testing experience
  • The ability to learn quickly and continuously
  • Ability to teach others
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
  • A self-starter, passionate about their work with new ideas
  • SQL knowledge (MySQL specifically)
  • Able to reference and research documentation to solve problems
  • An understanding of modern front-end web development techniques
  • The ability to work in a remote team environment
  • Willingness to learn Drupal
  • A sense of humor, strong team building, and collaborative work style
Bonus points awarded for:
  • Drupal development experience
  • Git experience
  • jQuery
  • Redis or other NoSQL database experience
  • Experience with high-volume email delivery services such as SendGrid
