I've been interviewing with Dream Factory and they seem to have a nice RESTful CRUD API. It better be nice, if I get this job, I'll be hawking their wares and giving demos all around.

It's based upon Laravel with some really nice benefits. Install on any platform, use any language to connect to it. It connects to [almost?] any local or remote SQL or NoSQL or flat file system.
It seems to do all of the heavy lifting for you.

Full Disclosure: as I said, I've been interviewing with them so I'm not unbiased.

I wanted to check in and see if everyone is writing their own REST in PHP or if there is a nice lightweight dedicated framework for that that people appreciate and at least uses authentication tokens.

I've heard good things about Laravel.  That's about it.
