We periodically organizine group volunteer events, and a few months ago, I mentioned an upcoming event in April with the Anacostia Watershed Society. Every year the Anacostia Watershed Society organizes a multi-site river clean-up for Earth Day. This year the event is one April 25 and the clean up occurs between 9 am and noon. I'd like to organize a group from our sangha, and I'll need to get an approximate idea of how many people would participate and which location would work best for the interested people. If you are interested in participating, please send me an email and let me know if you have a car or if you are tied to public transportation.
