We’re honored to power the activities for the Obama campaign; the DNC, DSCC, and DCCC and the majority of Democratic state caucuses. We also proudly provide organizing tools for organizations such as labor unions, environmental groups, pro-choice advocates, civil rights activists, and more.
Position
We are looking for a PHP/Drupal software engineer, to help architect and build our enterprise website platform for campaigns, labor unions, and non-profit organizations. We are looking for someone who has good communication skills, can collaborate in a team environment, works hard, and has a good sense of humor. Successful candidates should demonstrate:
· Skill in PHP programming
· Experience programming for the web
· Comfort working in a Linux environment
· Familiarity with SQL
· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· The ability to work in an agile, creative, quick-paced, and collaborative environment
Beyond these requirements, previous experience with Drupal is highly valued, as an administrator or especially as a module developer. Knowledge of jQuery, Facebook development, or .NET development is also a plus, as is experience with politics, labor unions, or non-profit organizations.
