Greetings Dear Sangha,
When the world feels impossible, confusion reigns. When keeping up with current events becomes a daily encounter with destabilization, can we just be? We may hear the voice that says we need to jump into action precisely now... and then the one that suggests it's better to just retreat into detachment. Yet the Dharma offers another Way—one that can help us stay connected without being consumed.
This Sunday, we'll reflect on a central Dharma teaching on the Two Truths: the Relative and the Absolute. These two ways of seeing are often misunderstood as opposites, but in Buddhist tradition, they illuminate one another. We'll explore the Two Truths teaching, its relationship to form and emptiness, and practice bringing it to life in a way that can support us through overwhelm, grief, and failure, as well as deep care and possibility.
I hope you'll join us for an evening sitting practice, Dharma reflection, and connection with one another.

A reminder if you're joining us in person: please arrive at least 10 minutes early as the line to check in can be long. There are plenty of friends to make while you're waiting for the formal program to begin.In-person: Sunday, 7:00 to 8:30pm @ Yoga District — 1910 14th Street NW, 3rd Floor, Washington, DC
