[IMCW-Engaged-Sangha] Invite Reminder - Engaged Sangha Potluck - Sat May 13th 5-8

Greetings Sangha Friends,

Nancy Murphy here.  Happy Monday!

This is a reminder to relay I will be hosting the next Engaged Sangha - Potluck (Vegetarian)

Saturday May 13th 5-8.

A group from Dupont Circle Sangha have met the last 2 months to gather and share food and community related to our mindful social justice ideas, responses / actions.

Below are domains of interest that the group has identified.  We will meet to continue to develop strategies to build on our work with teach-ins, potlucks, and communicating with a broader community.

1. Immigration Justice     2. Sanctuary     3. Climate / Environmental Justice    4. Diversity   5. Health Care    6. Media 

The format so far has been to chat and eat 5-6ish - then have a brief sit followed by discussion and planning.

I have 14 seats in my home and will have cushions for floor sitting if all seats are taken. 

I also have a cat, Dr. Phlox.
