We are looking for a software developer who will work closely with software architects and product leads to translate application designs into clean, efficient and well-documented code.

He or she will use analytical skills to solve complex problems while managing personal schedule and deadlines.
Responsibilities:

• Translate application requirements into clean, efficient PHP and JavaScript code
• Translate UI designs, mockups and detailed specifications into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, performance and robustness, and adherence to coding best practices and current web standards
• Help ensure fully automated test coverage by writing behavioral and unit tests using Behat and PHPUnit
• Collaborate with other team members to solve interesting problems
• Manage personal schedule of projects, deadlines and requests with little oversight
• Work effectively with management, customers and technical staff in analyzing situations and resolving issues
Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of web application development experience
• Experience in PHP development, including experience with OOP and MVC-based frameworks
• Strong JavaScript development skills, including experience with JQuery or similar frameworks
• Great eye for form design and creating user interfaces to support complex data structures
• Experience with database design, especially MySQL
• Experience with version control, especially Git
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience with Laravel 4, especially building Laravel packages
• Experience with behavior driven development using Behat
• Experience with low-level unit testing using PHPUnit
• Experience with front-end development frameworks including AngularJS and Bootstrap
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
