Welcome (back) to MAAD Dharma, the psycho-spiritual, self-help project that I lauched in September 2010 to help meditation practitioners learn to bear the pain associated with mood, attachment and anxiety disorders ... without suffering~
Join us as we learn to wear down destructive (thought, feeling, behavior) patterns with loving awareness and reduce the painful effects of mood, attachment and anxiety with the age-old Buddhist practice of mind training called mindfulness (paying attention on purpose to whatever is arising in the present moment)~
When: We meet the second Saturday of every month (this month: November 10, 2012)
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Where: IMCW Center for Mindful Living (4708 Wisconsin Avenue, Upper Floor, WDC) - Red line metro to Tenleytown
Topic: See the attached article ... plus ... the Twelve MAAD Skillful Means~
Bring: 1. An open heart 2. A beginner's mind 3. The cushion of your choice (chairs provided). 4. A friend~
Community Connection: We plan to meet for dinner after sangha at Niesha's Thai restaurant (4445 Wisconsin Avenue, NW) to get to know each other a little better as well as to further develop the framework of our sangha. Anyone interested, please join us.
All are welcome!
See you on Saturday!
