Mid Level PHP Developer - Drupal / WordPress – Washington D.C. – Salary negotiable

Job Requirements 

The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):

  • 3+ years of experience with PHP
  • 1+ years of experience with OO (PHP 5 / 5.3 in particular), design patterns and OOP in PHP
  • 3+ years of experience with MySQL
  • 3+ years of general web development
  • 3+ years of experience working with Linux OS
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) skills with a fluency in English to include strong interpersonal skills are essential


Experience Below is a Plus:

  • Experience with CMS: WordPress, Joomla and Drupal
  • Understanding of MVC Software Architecture with experience working with Zend Framework's MVC implementation
  • Understanding of Unit Testing and Continuous Integration
  • Experience with version control systems, knowledge of GITHUB will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies
  • Knowledge of web server administration in LAMP environment; you must be comfortable managing live servers
  • A College Degree in a related field
