[Downtown Dharma Listserve] The Physics of Liberation: This Sunday at Flow Yoga

Greetings Dear Sangha,

How can an understanding of the dynamics of awareness and intention support our well-being?

This Sunday at Flow, I'll offer some observations about the nature of attention along with some of the latest research from (the amazing) Dr. Dan Siegel. We'll then explore a view of mind as patterned energy field to get a sense of what's happening when we practice mindfulness and how all this might connect, quite wonderfully, to some of the most profound aspects of Buddhist wisdom. No physics degrees required, this exploration will just be good fun.

I believe we're now meeting on the top floor at Flow Yoga, but check in at the desk on your way in to be sure. Please make every effort to arrive on time (no one will be at the front desk to unlock the door after 6:05 PM). Our meeting space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and there are two flights of stairs. Cushions, back jacks, and folding chairs will be provided. If you are able to come 10 minutes early to help set up, that would be most appreciated.

I hope you can join us!

In Sangha,

Kristin
