[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Potter's House This Week

Hi friends,

We will be meeting this Sunday from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the Community Room at the Potter's House Cafe (1658 Columbia Rd., NW Washington) to explore the dharma together, and enjoy each other's company. We will provide chairs and a few cushions but please feel free to bring your own. The space is wheelchair accessible.

This week kicks off our exploration of the five aggregates. Though this may sound complicated and esoteric, it's actually meant to simplify our understanding of experience so that the mind can get untangled. The category we will be looking at this week is form, also known as the material world (cue Madonna). I love this topic and the possibilities that it points to.

ALSO, there is a picnic before the sitting at Meridian Hill Park from 2:30 - 5:30. There will be food, games and good people. Come join!
