[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Potter's House Sunday Sangha: Hindrance of Aversion with Kaira Jewel

Dear friends,
warm greetings. This Sunday at 6pm we will gather at Potter's House to continue in our study of the 5 Hindrances, specifically the hindrance of aversion. It is the other face of craving, which has been the topic for the last 2 weeks. We will look at how we can skillfully be with and understand the habit of pushing away, of not wanting, to learn what it has to teach us and thereby suffer less.

We gather in the community room to the right of the register. The space has chairs available. Bring your favorite bench or cushion if you'd like. If you'd like to help set-up, please arrive ten minutes early. The space is wheelchair accessible.

Wishing you well and ease,
Kaira Jewel

"The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion. The most important person is always the person you are with, who is right before you, for who knows if you will have dealings with any other person in the future? The most important pursuit is making the person standing at your side happy, for that alone is the pursuit of life." ― Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness
