[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Reading of WUNDERKAMMER for

Hi Dharma friends!

I'm producing a free reading of Francesca Pazniokas' play
WUNDERKAMMER, as part of the Women's Voices Theater Festival.  The
reading will be held at Potter's House right before our class on
Sunday, and I'd love for you to see it! Here are the details:

WHEN: Sunday 1/21, at 3PM

WHERE: Potter's House (1658 Columbia Rd. NW), a bookstore/ cafe in NW
DC that's been a center for community empowerment since the 1960s

ABOUT THE PLAY:
WUNDERKAMMER is a dark fable set in a taxidermist shop, that blurs the
line between human and animal, and the border between life and death,
to ask: how do we decide who is "us" and who is "them"?

Francesca Pazniokas is an internationally produced playwright whose
work has been seen at Pipeline Theatre Company, The Flea, and Actor's
Theater of Louisville, among many others. You can read more about her
at this link: https://www.francescapazniokas.com/

Farrell Parker directs a cast of 10 with credits from the Folger
Theater, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Mint Theater Company (NYC), and
many others.

ABOUT WOMEN'S VOICES DAY:
To commemorate the first anniversary of the worldwide Women's Marches,
theater-makers around the globe will present readings of unproduced
works by women playwrights.  You can read more about the festival
