P.S. Pardon me, forgot to include the link to his site where you can find the video: http://www.qigongdharma.com/

Hello all,
Thanks again to Kathleen for a wonderful peer-led sit and talk on mindfulness of the body on Sunday 1/21 at the Potter's House.

A couple of folks asked me to share the qigong dharma video I mentioned that night from the wonderful qigong teacher Teja Bell. He's based in the Bay Area and teaches at Spirit Rock and has developed a special routine for meditators called radiant heart qigong. I learned it while on retreat at Spirit Rock from a teacher who studied with Teja and it has transformed my meditation practice and awareness of the body.

The qigong energy practice is designed to help ground the body before sitting to meditate. I recommend downloading the video on Teja's site and trying it before you sit. You can also read all about it in his Tricycle article.

Feel free to contact me with any questions about it, too!

With metta,
Eliza
