[dcphp-dev] ElePHPant Giveaway plus Date Change

Hey DCPHPers--

Just a reminder that our meeting in August is at a special date, the 27th. David Buchmann, head of the Symfony CMF project from Switzerland, will be in town and has agreed to talk about Symfony's components. For those of you who use Drupal, it will be a great preview into the technologies that you'll become more familiar with in Drupal 8, including the templating language, Twig.

We'll also be giving away an orange ElePHPant to a lucky attendee, and if anyone wants to socialize afterward, a group will be heading to a nearby bar to grab some food and drink.

I will be out of town that night, unfortunately, but Oscar Merida, one of my partners at php[architect] will be available to handle the giveaway.
