Description:

 

This year, we are including a variety of options for those who want to get into culinary, engineering, information technology, architecture as well as enhance their skills in one great fun activity...Movie making!! In addition, our engineering programs are nationally recognized and locally impacting amongst elementary through college programs.

Young Innovators Summer Training Programs

 

Elementary (1st – 6th Graders) & Middle School Students (7th – 8th)


Pre-Engineering Summer Program
Dates:
July 7, 14, 21, 28
Times: 9am – 2pm
Registration: $350
This program is a fun, technical summer program for young elementary school students. Students will learn basic principles in mathematics, science and physics through interactive hands-on activities. Students will learn how to build their own motor in the program and translate this into building their own buggy car or tractor.


 

Upper Elementary (4th – 6th) & Middle School Students (7th – 8th)


Culinary Arts Summer Program
Dates: July 7, 14, 21, 28
Times: 9am – 2pm
Registration: $350
This program exposes students to the field of culinary arts and provides students with a hands-on, project-based experience where they learn how to prepare food, develop creative recipes and produce their own healthy culinary creations on a limited budget.


 

Middle School (7th – 8th) & High School Students (9th – 12th)


Engineering & Technology Summer Program


Dates: July 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27
Times: 9am – 5pm
Registration: $650
This program is designed to teach students how to build, design and program engineering innovations such as helicopters, cars and other types of vehicles.  This summer experience helps students to learn how to become innovative and sharpen their skills in critical thinking skills in electronics, software, mechanics and robotics.  

 

 

 


Movie Production & Script Development Summer Program
Dates: July 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27
Times: 9am – 5pm
Registration: $650
This program is designed to provide students with a hands-on experience with cameras, lights and a lot of action behind the camera to develop the content for a new movie. Students will gain the opportunity to write the storyline for a new series of educational shows and film their content for a post production editing team.
