Dear beloved sangha,
In response to the societal chaos of his time, the Buddha developed a Middle Way between the extremes of asceticism and hedonism. Today, many of us are facing the challenges of an equally chaotic time. Tomorrow night at Downtown Dharma we'll focus on how we can draw from the spirit of the Buddha's Middle Way to harmonize our inner peace with the struggle for outer justice.
We'll start with a meet-each-other icebreaker, meditate together, I'll give a short talk, and we'll do break-out groups.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gather in spiritual community and make new friends. Come join us!
