I wanted to reach out with a last-minute invitation to attend a half-day retreat tomorrow, Sunday, April 2, from 2 PM - 6 PM in Alexandria.
The retreat is offered freely by Dharma Gates. Although they generally focus on young adults, this retreat will be open to people of all ages. The scheduled teacher had issues with her flight, and the organizers reached out and asked me to fill in, which I'm happy to be able to do.
The format of the retreat will be the same as half-day retreats I have taught in the past, with an emphasis on developing a sustainable and relaxed relationship to the practice.
The event will be at Yoga in Daily Life studio at 2402 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA. Sitting gear will be provided. There is no need to pre-register. All you need to bring is yourself.
