[Downtown Dharma Sangha Listserv] *Next Downtown Dharma Reading Group*- 6pm Saturday, November 19th -- RSVP here

Hello Fellow Book Groupers!

Thanks to Roman and Brandel for the following wording and research!

Roman wrote,

"At our last meeting at Aubri's we decided on a theme of gratitude for next month.

Here is a link to a talk by Jack Kornfield on gratitude that we could use for discussion.

In the talk, Jack praises a book by Ram Dass & Paul Gordman called "How Can I Help?: Stories and Reflections on Service".

Folk feeling motivated, could take a deeper dive by reading it."

Brandel wrote

"Here are a few things I found from reputable sources (but I haven't read or listened):

This neuroscientist from Stanford devotes one of his podcasts to gratitude: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVjfFN89qvQ"
