Dear friends,For our first book club in the new year, we'll be reading a few short articles on the topic of veganism and the consumption of animal products. We are expecting a spirited discussion and hope you can make it.The readings are below:
- A short essay describing the arguments for and against the consumption of meat and animal products from the perspective of Buddhism/scholarship.
- A Vogue article Q & A with Peter Singer, moral philosopher
- A short statement by Michael Pollan, famous food author.
The meeting will take place at 2360 Adams Mill Road, Unit 306, on Saturday, January 15th.
