Hi friends-- we're doing another daylong (sitting/walking) this Saturday at the Lamont Dharma House.  Feel free to come for only half the day if that's what works for you.  There is no fee; details below.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Daylong Meditation at the Lamont Dharma House - Saturday, May 7

 
We host a daylong meditation retreat on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 5:30pm.

We observe the age-old tradition of "noble silence" throughout the day and alternate between seated and walking meditation. 

There is an hour and a half lunch break, during which we will also hold silence. You can bring your own lunch or purchase food nearby (there are a number of options in the neighborhood).

At the end of the day, we will break silence and those who are interested are welcome to stay for tea and conversation.

Please bring your own cushion, mat, bench, or blanket for sitting, as we only have a limited number to share.

You are still welcome even if you can only make it for a portion of the day. However, to maintain a solid container for the practice, we ask folks to commit to at least the full morning (10:00am-12:30pm) or full afternoon (2:00pm-5:30pm) period.

10:00-10:15 welcome
10:15-11:00 sitting meditation
11:00-11:45 walking meditation
11:45-12:30 sitting meditation
12:30-2:00 lunch (in silence)
2:00-2:45 sitting meditation
2:45-3:30 walking meditation
3:30-4:15 sitting meditation
4:15-4:45 walking meditation
4:45-5:30 sitting meditation
5:30-6:30 tea and conversation
