[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Daniel Goleman Book Talk and Signing: The Dalai Lama's Vision for Our World-- June 25

I thought this event might be of interest to the group, as we explore taking compassion "off the cushion" and into the world. This new book (release date is tomorrow) by His Holiness and Daniel Goleman (author of Emotional Intelligence) looks at "how to turn our compassionate energy outward." Details about the event, which will be held at the AU Kay Spiritual Life Center at 7:30 pm this Thursday, are available on the BuddhaFest.org home page.
